Common questions

Do the apps need an internet connection?

Core apps don't, and can't: they have no internet permission. SageLoch Lookout apps (Weather, Maps, Email and Network Files) connect only to the servers listed on their pages.

How do I send feedback from inside an app?

Axis will have a Send feedback button. It opens your own email app with the app version and phone model filled in, so you see exactly what's sent before you send it.

I lost my license file.

Email us from the address you bought with, or include it in your message. We'll send the license file again.

Will the Play Store and website versions work together?

Yes. Both are signed with the same key, so they update each other and share themes.

How do I check a downloaded APK?

Each app page lists the file's SHA-256 checksum. On Windows run certutil -hashfile file.apk SHA256; on Linux or macOS run sha256sum file.apk. The result should match exactly.

Can I get automatic updates without Google Play?

Yes. Add the app's page address to Obtainium and it will check for new versions here.
