We build tools that never touch the network. Phone and texting depend on your carrier, so we recommend the excellent open-source Fossify apps instead of building a weaker copy.

Why not build them?
Phone and messaging apps need special permissions that Google Play reviews case by case. Picture messages (MMS) are notoriously unreliable to build, and apps like ours can't use modern RCS chat at all. We'd rather point you to something good than ship something half-done.
We'll look at this again after the core suite launches. If it matters to you, tell us.
